How to apply
! Note on Coronavirus/Covid-19 !
The approach followed by the TOMidEast organising committee is to prioritise and guarantee the safety of all participants and Faculty members. In recognition of the global health situation and persistent health concerns in Italy, the Organising Committee has decided that the 2020 edition of the TOMidEast Summer School will be delivered entirely online on the CISCO Webex platform. The date of the course are unchanged (22 June – 27 June) and the program will reflect as closely as possible the one which has been advertised. All speakers are confirmed!
Since the total number of participants is set at 40 and it includes both students and professionals, we expect tough competition to secure a place at the School. We therefore advise to apply as soon as possible, provided you meet the admission criteria.
In order for their application to be considered, applicants must complete the following Google Form.
NB: You can complete the Google Form only once.
Depending on your status (student or professional) there are different documents you have to upload.
Students only are requested to upload a copy of their official enrolment letter/certification testifying their current student status and an academic transcript. Student status will be extended to applicants who graduated in December 2019 and later and who are not currently employed full-time. In this case applicants are requested to upload a copy of their certificate testifying their graduate status and an academic transcript. The transcript will be used to select the best candidates, both for a place at the School and for one of the scholarships, if requested. Students applying for a Freetorino scholarships has to tick the option on the Google form.
The TOMidEast Summer School office will begin accepting applications from Wednesday 4th March 2020.
No application will be accepted after the 2nd June 2020, 5pm Rome time.

When all necessary application documents are in the hand of the TOMidEast office, the secretary will place them in an individual file and make sure all compulsory requirements are met. If this is the case, the file is passed on to the senior scholars who select successful candidates.

Applicants who should fail to send such confirmation and proof of payment within a week from the notification of their successful application will have their offer withdrawn.
