Internships
TOChina assists the Faculty of Political Science in striking partnerships with prestigious institutions and dynamic enterprises operating in China or with a strong China focus, allowing students enrolled in the Scienze Internazionali degree program to couple their formal training with valuable hands-on experiences as interns.
So far, we have negotiated the following opportunities:
Internship at Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina
The first intern completed her time in Beijing in 2011, assisting the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China in a variety of activities, for a total of 3 months.
One or more positions can be opened for 3- or 6-month internships: the scheme is activated upon students’ request. Interested students are advised to speak with proff. Giovanni Andornino or Giuseppe Gabusi, and generally keep checking TOChina’s tweet.
Internship at AGIChina24
This scheme offers an opportunity for one or two students to spend some 3 months in Rome, working in the headquarters of AGIChina24, Italy’s only web-based daily entirely devoted to China. A dynamic and international working environment in fully renovated premises is coupled with day-to-day updates on the most recent news from China, processed by professional journalists.
There are no formal calls for these internships. Students who wish to be considered for these opportunities should send their CV to the TOChina office (china@to-asia.it) and be ready to sit through an interview with TOChina faculty members for selection.
Internship at the Italian Trade Commission, Shanghai
This scheme is currently being negotiated.
